I can't see the delivery date picker on my cart page

Troubleshoot why the Flare delivery date picker isn’t showing on your Shopify cart page. Follow the checkpoints below to get the calendar displaying just above your Checkout button.

📘 Overview

If the calendar isn’t visible after running Flare’s setup flow, it usually means:


  1. The wrong block (or no block) is in the cart template.
  2. The Slide-cart app embed is turned on (meant only for drawer carts).
  3. Products in the cart are set as digital rather than physical.
  4. Another delivery-date app or theme code is hiding the picker.


Run through the checkpoints below—each fix takes seconds in the Shopify Theme Editor.




🛠 Troubleshooting checklist


1 | Confirm Flare setup completed

  • Open Flare and make sure the Add to Theme step shows completed.



2 | Open the cart page in the Theme Editor

  • Go to Online Store → Themes → Customize.
  • Use the page selector (top centre) to switch from Home page to Cart.



3 | Add—or verify—the Cart Page Date Picker block

  • In the left sidebar, look for Cart Page Date Picker.
  • Block missing?
  1. Click Add block → Apps → Cart Page Date Picker.
  2. The calendar appears just above the Checkout button by default.


  • Wrong block added?
  • Delete any Product Page Date Picker blocks—those belong on product pages only.



4 | Disable dynamic positioning (optional)

  • Select the Cart Page Date Picker block.
  • Toggle Enable Dynamic Block Positioning → Off.
  • Drag & drop the block exactly where you want it (e.g. inside the subtotal section).



5 | Turn off the Slide-cart app embed

  • Click App embeds (top left).
  • Find Slide Cart Date Picker and toggle it Off—it’s only for slide-out carts.
  • Click Save.



6 | Verify products are set as physical

  • In Products, open each item currently in your cart.
  • Under the variant’s Shipping section, tick This is a physical product.
  • The picker won’t show for digital-only items (e.g. gift cards).
  • Save changes and reload the cart.



7 | Disable any other delivery-date apps

  • Uninstall or deactivate legacy date-picker apps that might inject conflicting code.



8 | Save & test

  • Hit Save in the Theme Editor.
  • Refresh the cart page in a new browser tab (or incognito) to confirm the calendar appears.

The calendar shows twice—why?

Two Cart Page Date Picker blocks were added. Delete one and save.


Do I ever need the Slide-cart embed on a cart page?

No. It’s only for drawer/slide-out carts. Keep it off for a full cart page.
