How to Block Specific Delivery Dates on the Calendar

Learn how to block individual dates or date ranges from being selectable in your Shopify delivery calendar using Flare.

🛠 Step-by-step instructions

1. Open the Flare app from your Shopify admin
2. Go to the Calendar Configuration page
3. Scroll down to the Blocked dates section
4. Click Add blocked dates
5. Choose Apply to all dates
6. Click Pick a date and select a day (e.g. June 25)
7. Click Add date — the date will appear in the blocked list and calendar preview
8. To block a range, click Add date range, choose a start and end date (e.g. June 23–27), and click Add range
9. Check that the blocked dates appear in the preview
10. Click Save to apply

✅ Block public holidays, staff holidays, or out-of-office periods
