How to Reposition the Delivery Date Picker Block on Your Shopify Page (Drag and Drop)

📘 Overview
By default, Flare will automatically position the date picker in the most common locations:
- On the product page, it appears above the “Add to Cart” button
- On the cart page, it appears above the “Checkout” button
But if you’d like to customise its location, Shopify makes it easy via drag-and-drop in the Theme Editor.
This is great for:
- Custom themes with unique layouts
- Product pages with lots of content where the picker needs to sit elsewhere
- Optimising conversion flow on mobile or desktop
🛠 Step-by-step instructions
- Install the Flare app from the Shopify App Store
- Open the Flare app and begin setup
- In Step 1, choose where to add the picker (Product Page, Cart Page, or Checkout)
- The Shopify Theme Editor will open in a new tab automatically
🖱 Reposition the picker manually
- In the Shopify Theme Editor, find the delivery date picker block in the left-hand panel
- Click on the block - this will open it's settings on the right hand side
- Uncheck the option labelled:
Enable dynamic block positioning
- Drag the picker block up or down to reposition it anywhere in the section
- Click Save in the top-right of the Theme Editor
✅ That’s it — you’ve successfully repositioned the delivery date picker block!
