How to Set the Earliest Delivery Date a Customer Can Choose

Learn how to set the earliest available delivery date a customer can select in the Flare delivery date picker for your Shopify store.

🛠 Step-by-step instructions


  1. If you are still in the setup flow:
  2. Open the Flare app from your Shopify admin
  3. Complete Step 1: Add the date picker to your theme
  4. In Step 2, you'll see calendar configuration settings
  5. Under Choose earliest delivery date, set the number of days delay (e.g. 0 for same-day)
  6. Watch the calendar preview on the right hand side update in real time
  7. Click Next and finish setup


If you’ve already completed setup:

  1. Open the Flare app from your Shopify admin
  2. Navigate to the Calendar Configuration page (bottom left of the app)
  3. Find the Earliest delivery date field
  4. Set the number of days delay (e.g. 0 for same-day)
  5. Confirm changes using the live calendar preview
  6. Click Save in the top right


✅ Example: If today is June 1 and you set it to 2, the customer’s first selectable date will be June 3



💡 Tips & Tricks


  • Want to enable same-day delivery? Set the value to 0. Customers will be able to choose today’s date
