How to Set the Latest Delivery Date a Customer Can Choose

Learn how to set the latest available delivery date a customer can select in the Flare delivery date picker for your Shopify store.

🛠 Step-by-step instructions


If you are still in the setup flow:

  1. Open the Flare app from your Shopify admin
  2. Complete Step 1: Add the date picker to your theme
  3. In Step 2, you'll see calendar configuration settings
  4. Under Choose latest delivery date, set the number of days into the future (e.g. 14 for a 2-week window)
  5. Watch the calendar preview on the right update in real time
  6. Click Next and finish setup


If you’ve already completed setup:

  1. Open the Flare app from your Shopify admin
  2. Go to the Calendar Configuration page
  3. Find the Latest delivery date field
  4. Set the number of days ahead customers can book (e.g. 14 for two weeks)
  5. Review the change in the live preview
  6. Click Save in the top right


✅ Example: If today is June 1 and you set the latest date to 14, the last selectable date will be June 15


💡 Tips & Tricks


  • Useful if you only want to allow short booking windows (e.g. for fresh food or event-based delivery)
